Group Supported Employment- Groups of individuals, assisted by GAAMHA’s job trainers work in the community doing scullery, housekeeping or production work. GAAMHA currently has active enclaves at Franklin Pierce University and at Coleman Assembly & Packaging. Transportation is provided to enable individual participation in group supported employment.
Job Placement Services/Individual supported employment- Individuals who are ready to work in the community are connected with GAAMHA’s job development and job coaching staff. They are assisted in choosing work that interests them, and in locating a job that meets their needs. Job trainers help our individuals to apply for and interview for a job and will follow them throughout the process dependent on need.
